Full of charm, this comfortable and romantic 19th century manor house, made out of the local sweet "Tuffeau stone" like chalk, covered with climbing roses, lies in a peaceful walled shady garden, in the vineyards close to Doué La Fontaine.

Elegant decoration, with refinement and personal touch, together with enchanting ambiance, are just what you would expect for a perfect stay !

Les BASSES FONTAINES is located in the Loire Valley, between Angers and Tours, in the Layon vineyards, near SAUMUR and DOUE-LA-FONTAINE

From Doué La Fontaine get to Place du Champ de Foire,
take "avenue Général Leclerc" then turn right at rue d'Argenton
(in front of the bar on the corner).
At the crossroads, go straight ahead at the lights,
following the sign to Les Verchers, via road D 69.
 

In the village of Les Verchers Sur Layon,
take the first turning left, at road sign
"Les Fontaines".
Keep going for about 1 Km, until you come to road junction with Rue des Courances,
Turn right into Rue des Courances and come to the hamlet of "Les Basses Fontaines".
We are located on the left side of the road,
at n° 7.
